Wysi™Wipe
Back in October of 2010, I was racing through a trade show in Las Vegas. I was only in town for the day, before my flight back home that evening. I was prepared to see all of our current manufacturers, and preview others. I had spent that previous day, mapping out my route. I was on a mission. In fact, I met a woman at the airport headed for the same trade show. Having attended this show in the past, she was surprised and skeptical that I would successfully complete my mission.
I was on the tail end of my journey. Exhausted, and hungry, when I noticed a nice man trying to flag me down to have a look at his product. From a quick look, it didn’t appear to be something we would carry in our shop. He convinced me to stop and have a closer look.
The product is called Wysi ™ Wipe. Out of the package, the Wysi™ is ¾”. It’s a bit bigger than the size of a Tums tablet. The gentleman poured a tablespoon of water on it, and it immediately began to grow. This previously bone-dry, little disc was growing into a full-sized wipe, before my very eyes. It grew to be 9”x9”. Wow! Was I impressed? I put it to my face. It was so soft, I could use it to remove my eye make-up, or to wash may face after a workout. I pulled on it. It was extremely durable. So durable, I could use it more than once. Then he explained that there were no additives, no artificial scents, and no chemicals. Being dry means no moisture, no bacteria and no smell.
There are so many practical uses for this baby-soft, absorbent, scent-free multi-purpose cloth. Make your own wetting agent with:
- Water for a quick wipe.
- Essential oils to sooth & baby your skin (or your babies skin).
- Antiseptic to swab a scrape or cut.
- Add toner or cleanser to wash your face.
The Wysi™ is made of cellulose from pulp fiber. The fiber is not bleached; rather an oxygen-based whitener is used. The Wysi™ biodegrades in a composting environment in 60 days. It’s hypoallergenic and ultra soft. It contains no chemicals or additives. It will not irritate sensitive skin. The Wysi™ is rinse-able, reusable and dries fast. No bacterial, no moisture, no smell. They come in a resealable, waterproof bag.
These wipes are one of the best products I have run across in years. Not only do I carry them in my store, I carry them in the diaper/toddler bag, my gym bag, and my purse. I carry them in the little bag on my bike and in my glove compartment. I also keep them in our RV, boat and 1staid kit. Sometimes you’ll even catch me with one in my pocket, if I’m just dashing out without a purse. There isn’t anywhere I wouldn’t have these on hand.
I guess the moral of my story is to slow down in life. If not, some great things will just Wysi right by you!
